What to do when a client says “Your price is too high” “you are overcharging” and etc….!

 

Digital Marketing client:- Subham, you are overcharging!  INR 15k for just running social media ads, google ads, retail website and on page seo services seems overpriced to me.

 (THIS LEAD SHOWED INTEREST AFTER PENNING THE DIGITAL MARKETING STRATEGY FOR FREE, Subham didn't wanted to lose the first potential lead)

 Subham:- Well, if it seems like an easy job and overpriced, you might wanna to do it by yourself sir!! I will assist you in the process for INR 5K, client says ok.

 The next morning client and customer got on a call and shubham briefed client and insisted client to

 1.Buy a hosting and domain subscription,

2.Get the website frame up etc..,

3 .Make a google ad account, fb ads manager account, frame bids and analyse all the various ad campaigns.

4. Professional instagram page and same on other social media handles.

5. Make a SEMrush account, find relevant keywords, do the competitive analysis.Graphics for website backgrounds and social media pages.

6.write a meta description for the website.

7.Install all the plugins and write down all the necessary content on the website. Check the loloading time of the website, insisted to reduce the loading time to be below 5 secs.

8.Tutored him for all the various ad campaigns and whatnot GUY’S!

 The Business owner left the idea of stepping into Digital marketing after putting in the work for ads and graphics..

 Digital Marketing client:- In this way the cost of this project is summing upto like INR 100,000-INR 1,26,000.

 SUBHAM:- I said i will do the following for 15k as my service charge and the overall cost WOULD REDUCE TO JUST 90,000 OR SO..

MORAL OF THE CASE:-

Digital Marketers do the proper maths before charging the clients. I say 15K a month an more.. for the following services is reasonable. We guarantee business to generate 3-6x more revenue but Clients assume marketing as an expense when its actually a investment.
